March is Developmental Disabilities Month! Nadine Weininger, and Cari Taylor from the Blanchard Valley Center/Hancock County Board of DD, shared information about the various programs they offer including Early Intervention, Service & Support Administration, and Investigative Agents.
They also offer Community Support for the people they serve. These include the Special Olympics, Advocacy, and Project Life.
Many of their clients are employed and live on their own. The services they provide can follow people for a lifetime. They are a real gem for our community.
Make plans to attend their Celebrity Basketball Game at FHS on March 26.
